I do see a shift in 2026 weddings floral wise; florals are more organic, artful and intimate, and built into every aspect of the wedding more so now than ever. Couples want their flowers to be interactive and meaningful. For us as floral designers we are having to find wonderful creative ways to incorporate them into the flow and harmony of the whole day which I find truly exciting.
This year we can look forward to bold bright colours, vegetables and fruit, organic grasses and foliage, pretty pastel hues, wired bouquets and food incorporated florals. Statement pieces while keeping other spaces minimal will be another feature.
Moving away from eucalyptus leaf runners and pampas grass and moving forward to fresh more natural flows, authenticity and curvilinear shapes. Wabi-sabi, the Japanese word for the aesthetic of focusing on the beauty of imperfection. Earthy and harmonious spaces that suggest balance and able to captivate interest and meaningfulness.
We are looking forward to being in this space and cannot wait to share it with you.
